Strawberry Cloud Cake

Strawberry Cloud Cake

This Strawberry Cloud Cake is easiest cake in the world to make! Honestly!

And it couldn’t be prettier either – with a light fluffy pink cloud perched atop a chocolate biscuit base. Impressive enough to serve at a dinner party and deceptive enough that your guests will think you’ve gone to a lot of effort. While your guests ooh and ahh over your skills only you will know that this cake is so simple to make that the most difficult part was lining the cake tin!

With no baking involved, and only two simple steps this is a cake you will make again and again, if not only because of it’s simplicity but also the fact it’s the perfect way to celebrate strawberry season. However this cake would be flexible enough to be made with raspberries, blackberries and even blueberries.

Oh, and it’s delicious too! But I’m sure you could tell that from just looking at it. :D

Ooh, lovely! As it's so light and airy, does that mean it doesn't have many calories? Please?

Haha well, it's low fat as it's mainly egg whites. Does that help? :D

Anything this simple is worth taking note of. I can imagine it would taste just like a strawberry cloud with all that whipped egg white. It's like an uncooked pavlova.

What a gorgeously simple dessert. I'd love to try this with blueberries and a more chocolaty biscuit base (as well as in its original form, which looks fab!).

This looks so summery and light. I've never heard of a cloud cake, but I can just imagine how it tastes!

Love the sound of a cloud cake - it'll be perfect for summer when the last thing ever you feel like doing is getting the oven on!

How gorgeous and delicious! Great to hear it's your strawberry season now. We're almost ending here but I want to see more strawberry recipes! I didn't know this type of cake is called "Cloud" cake. I'm learning about baking slowly... :-) Love to have a piece with delicious earl grey...

A bit cold here for a frozen dessert at the moment. But it will be perfect in a couple of months

Omg my comment got lost for some reason! Anyway, hope you don't mind me asking what strawberry cloud topping is. I don't think I've seen that before at Coles or Woolies! Thanks for clearing it up cuz I'd really like to try this recipe sometime =)
