Orange Hummus and Oat and Quinoa Cheddar Crackers

Orange Hummus recipe & Oat and Quinoa Cheddar Crackers Recipe

These Oat and Quinoa Cheddar crackers are dangerously addictive.  One bite and you will want another, and another and another.  This is what happened when I tried my first one warm from the oven.  After eating 6 straight from the oven I literally had to restrain myself from eating any more.  Not only do they taste amazing, they also have smell amazing.  These Oat and Quinoa Cheddar Crackers are, without doubt, the best crackers I’ve made and will definitely be a staple in our house.

While the crackers are amazing on their own, I chose to serve them with Orange Hummus.

We’re all familiar with hummus these days, but the addition of orange, cumin and parsley takes it to a whole other level.  My fiancé is not a fan of hummus, so I sneakily didn’t tell him what the dip was until it was in his mouth.  Thankfully he loved it, in fact he couldn’t get enough of it.  If you are not ordinarily a fan of hummus, this version may well change your mind.

I trick my husband all the time by making him eat things before I tell them what they really are. I don't know which of these recipes sounds more delicious to me, the crackers or the orange hummus. They both are so creative and sound amazing.

Quite addictive? Oh I guess it's because of the cheese! If you're a big cheese eater, then I think you would never get enough of it and I would never get enough of it, too if I had the chance of eating it. Just one question, though - Is it necessary to have some dip? Can't I just eat the whole thing as it is or does the hummus add to it's addictive taste?

It's not necessary to have the dip with the crackers, they are amazing on their own :D

I'd never have thought to put orange in hummus...sounds a little bizarre but then chickpeas often go into tagines with the sweetness of apricot so why not? Gorgeous pictures.

It may sound bizarre, but I assure you it's delicious. :D
