Broccoli and I have not been friends. When I was growing up broccoli was pretty much always on the dinner table, and I can honestly say I enjoyed it. But in my early 20′s I had two unfortunate experiences with broccoli at restaurants, after which I just couldn’t eat broccoli again. Those experiences both included finding little green slugs camouflaged amongst the green broccoli. Thankfully I didn’t find half a green slug!

Roasted Pumpkin, Lentil & Feta Pithivier recipe

A Pithivier is a round puff pastry tart which originates from the French town of Pithiviers,and is traditionally filled with an almond cream. I’ve had Pithivier many times before, out at restaurants, usually in the form of a mushroom Pithivier, however for I decided to combine sweet roasted pumpkin (another of my winter favourites) along with lentils and creamy Dannish feta.
